וְעָלָה֩ הָאִ֨ישׁ הַה֤וּא מֵֽעִירוֹ֙ מִיָּמִ֣ים ׀ יָמִ֔ימָה לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֧ת וְלִזְבֹּ֛חַ לַיהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת בְּשִׁלֹ֑ה וְשָׁ֞ם שְׁנֵ֣י בְנֵֽי־עֵלִ֗י חָפְנִי֙ וּפִ֣נְחָ֔ס כֹּהֲנִ֖ים לַיהוָֽה׃
Setiap tahun orang itu pergi dari kotanya ke Silo untuk sujud menyembah dan mempersembahkan korban kepada Yang Mahakekal semesta alam. Di sana kedua anak Eli, Hofni dan Pinehas, menjadi imam bagi Yang Mahakekal.
